What is the goal of health care reform?
Do people want free health care? Health care that's cheaper? Better health care? To be covered with pre-existing conditions? Cheaper pharmacueticals?
Time will tell if we get the outcome that anybody seeks. Personally, I'm not in favor of the legislation and pessimistic about it's outcome.
In the meantime, I have to ask each one of you, why do you think our legislators went about health care reform THIS way?
I mean, supposedly most people oppose obamacare. Supposedly most people are going to get something different than expected. Supposedly this health care imposes a new tax. Many people argue the whole thing is unConstitutional.
If the goals were for more affordable health care or any of the other things I listed above, why did our president, legislators, and judicial system create/promote/support legislation that was so generally disliked and controversial?
They couldn't come up with something more palatable for the general population?
They had to make it complicated?
What's the goal here?
Looking for comments and thoughts. Thank you.
