But Obama's Character appears to be more likable

Which quality holds a great priority with you? Past  Experience, Handling of the Issues, or Likability/Character?

I don't care for either of them.  More choices please.

Is there a politician out there who you would support?  If so, how do you prioirtize Experience, Issue/Stance, Character?

Character is the most important to me.  Then I would go with platform, and experience would be last.  Though, I think life experience and character go hand in hand.

Not really sure yet on a politician I would support, since these two yokels are the only ones who really get a platform in which to be seen and heard.  I am leaning towards Jill Stein, the green party candidate.

Without personally knowing someone- How do you measure Character?  How can you determine their true moral/personal qualities?

By their actions, by the company they keep, by paying attention to how they speak about others, and by their ability to speak honestly of the lessons they have learned from the hardships they have faced and the mistakes they have made.

By their actions, the company they keep (ie church leaders, circle of social, business, and political friends and guys in their neighborhood, etc?

How they speak about others? Interesting.

Matching all of these up to the current president, I have to question if the bar is pretty low for those who hold character as a priority.  To each their own.

Lessons from Hardships they have faced? Are all Presidents expected to have experienced Hardship? Why?  Historically speaking, JFK, Carter, FDR, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Reagan. Hardship?  Again, interesting measuring stick from which you gauge.

OK.  To each their own.  But I Have doubts that many on this site measure character the same D vs R.  Either Side of the main sides of US politics.

I prefer Experience and Track Record when measuring a leader.  I believe that sets the bar higher.  jmo.
