Kristi Yamaguchi Touts Romney’s Olympic Achievement in Ad
After a week of headlines over Romney’s London Olympics security skepticism, the pro-Romney Super PAC Restore Our Future is bringing in some golden reinforcements to tout Mitt Romney’s 2002 Olympic achievements.

In an ad released Monday, Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi commends Romney for bringing a “huge sense of hope” to the Salt Lake City games, which were rocked by a bribery scandal before Romney took over.
Jimmy Shea, who took home the gold in 2002 for the Skelaton, says in the ad that “Mitt gets things done. He changed my life.”
And finally speed skater and 2002 gold medalist Derek Parra says “Mitt allowed athletes like myself to realize our dreams.”
Both Yamaguchi and Parra have donated to Romney’s presidential campaign this cycle as well as his last bid in 2008. Yamaguchi and her husband Bred Hedican each donated $2,300 to Romney’s campaign in 2007 and she donated $2,500 to support Romney’s current run.
Parra gave $2,300 to Romney’s 2007 Republican primary campaign and has donated $1,000 this time around.
While Yamaguchi has not made an official Romney endorsement, the figure skating champion appeared alongside Romney in February for a 10-year anniversary celebration of the 2002 Olympics. Yamaguchi, who won gold in the 1992 games and was a goodwill ambassador to the 2002 games, said that because of Romney, the Salt Lake City games were a “tremendous success.”

The SLC Olympics were in trouble before Romney took over, and he came in and made them happen with success. Impressive!
Now it's time to turn around the economy ;)
The most pressing social issue today is the economy
PM David Cameron is now admitting things could be better....empty arenas, wrong flags, etc.

Of course. And the security issues were well-known and agreed upon. Romney was correct to be concerned.
Romney got flack for being honest about London's challenges, but he actually made a larger point that was ignored; he listed the three major elements to a successful Olympic games, in other words he demonstrated his knowledge about what is needed to make them work.

Some people like to be spoonfed pablum no matter the real condition of the situation.

Could you imagine the flak he'd be getting now if he had said, "Oh yes, they are well prepared and things will go smoothly", only to then have to back up his assertion with all the problems they've been having? That comment would be playing in the background as they list every minute problem that's arisen. "See, he can't even predict the Olympics as being well prepared when he's done that job before, how can we trust him to our whole country?" It is all just so easily scripted by the media. He was in a damned if you do/damned if you don't position. I thought he answered it well, laying out all the things London did and had yet to do to make it a successful event.
