Tastes like hate: Meet Manny Castro, Hollywood artist and proud Chick-fil-A vandal

The man behind today's #ChickFila "Tastes Like Hate" graffiti came forward in HuffPost. He's local "street artist" @MannyCastroNOW

Hollywood artist Manny Castro has come forward to proudly take credit for spray-painting the words “tastes like hate” on the exterior of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Torrance, Calif.

In an exclusive interview with The Huffington Post, Castro said he vandalized the restaurant because Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day was “the same thing” as “Christians protesting blacks marrying whites” 40 years ago.

Uh huh. Thanks, genius, we’ve seen the photos of those intolerant hatemongers enjoying chicken with their families.

Castro also told HuffPo, “It’s paint on a wall. It got removed in less than an hour. It’s not that much of a crime — it’s a protest.”

I agree with pema that is at least possible that these incidents were self inflicted by supporters of chickfila...but I would not be surprised if lefties did this..I mean really look at alot of their protesting its more like rioting and trashing...no tolerance about it at all.

Wasn't that guy just a bum? When I lived in NYC I saw this happen on several occasions on the street. Was that guy a proven OWS supporter?

Ya see there are always people who take it too far. Yuck! I disagree with the CEO's stance but do not think people or his buildings should be harmed. 

That goes against the message they are trying to promote...that love is love.

There is a lot of right wing vandalism around here. On stop signs people spray paint obama underneath with a swastika. Then there is gratifying of obama and a. Crudely drawn sickle and hammer.
