Revealingpolitics Obama Fluke

From revealingpolitics.com comes these outrageous responses from Obama supporters outside the joint President Obama-Sandra Fluke campaign event in Denver on Wednesday.

The interviewees were all dead-set on the government not having any place in the bedroom. But following that up with why then should the government pay for the contraception used in the bedroom, they seemed to falter.

“The government has no place in our bedroom?” interviewer Caleb Bonham asked one woman.

“No,” she asserted.

“So you’re in support of contraception, government-funded contraception — why do you believe the government should pay for what goes on inside your bedroom?”

The woman paused before answering, “That’s a very good question.”

And then there was the interviewee who declared she was “like, all for abortion, all for birth control.”

“So, you don’t think the government should be involved in what goes on inside the bedroom, correct?” Bonham repeated.

“Oh exactly, oh not even close, no,” she replied.

“So then why do you expect the government to pay for what goes on inside the bedroom?”

Another pause. “Because…”

The woman in the next clip at least had an answer to that, stating, “if we had that more readily available then we wouldn’t have people out here starving, wouldn’t have–”

“So contraception solves hunger?” Bonham asked.

“Well I believe it has a big part in it, I really do,” she said.

So true!!! I live almost SIX hours away from Hattiesburg! How does someone expect a person that lives near Ruleville to get there JUST for BC?!?

Quoting joyfree:

Of course, if you live in Mississippi and don't have transportation, it might be a BIT difficult to get to the ONE Planned Parenthood Clinic in Hattiesburg...sarcasmI don't remember it being "free" either. They use a sliding scale.

Quoting broncfan:

"And if you give people the education they need, provide the bc at an affordable cost and make it accessible, they are far more likely to use it and use it correctly."

Every person in this country, legal or illegal can get that education, and bc is now and has for decades been available at no cost through planned parenthood.  The lack of educational opportunity is not an issue, the lack of the NEED to get this offered education is the issue. As long as there is just enough to keep one from starving some are happy to just get by in order NOT to have to do the work a day for a day's pay. I know this, I probably have 10 or 15 people a month come in to "interview" so they can stay on unemployment, they tell me up front they are not interested in a job, they just need that signature that says they have applied. I will not sign for those people, no way am I going to help them work the system. As long as we hand it out and expect nothing in return, many are going to do nothing and keep their hands out there for more. They are going to vote for the person that will promise them more for nothing in return and that leaves a smaller and smaller group of us that are paying for the ones with the hands out.  Most everyone I know is sick of it, if it takes "tough love" then that is what it needs to be, the worse the economy gets the more people that are paying for all of this are making up their minds that we need a REAL CHANGE this election.

LOL that was hilarious.

Uuuuhhhh???????Hmmmmmm?????   Good question.

If you want the government to stay out of your bedroom, quit expecting it to pay for your bedroom activities. Seriously, if your an adult doing adult activities act like one.

Last time I checked no one died from not having sex. If you can't afford birth control quit having sex.

IUD's cost about 500 bucks and work for 5 years, that's a bargain.

Exactly. There are also the older IUDS which have been around for ages..that have no hormones and are good for TEN YEARS! No nothing is ever 100 percent and not all women can use the same bc but the way things are today is RIDICULOUS.Excuse after excuse after excuse for simply just being irresponsible..its sickening and old.

Yes there are places to go for 'free' bc now.Health departments provide this already too.

Just one question...Why is it that the very same folks who want to shut down all the planned parenthood clinics are the same ones who use the existance of these clinics as an excuse for not having BC covered under AHCA?

Which is it? You should either support having a planned parenthood clinic in every area of the country or get out of this argument.

I think the term ENABLER is more appropriate

Quoting romalove:

I love personal responsibility too. But I am a realist .

Quoting ExecutiveChick:

And do you know what is cheaper than PA and Tax Payer funded BC? Personal Responsibility.

So put me in the group clamoring for that.

Quoting romalove:

It is cheaper to provide birth control than the money to assist someone in raising a child.  Far, far cheaper.  Anyone against PA or abortion should be clamoring to have free birth control available EVERYWHERE.

So, the government has to be standing by watching you fuck, in order to get birth control and/or preventative care? Really?

It is cheaper to provider birth control than to have Medicaid pay for child birth and any other welfare that child will need in the future.

So instead of helping people get back on their feet, we should say fuck you all!!! Have unprotected sex because you can't afford birth control! Then let your children/families starve and be homeless because we don't give a shit about anyone but ourselves

Yea, I'd much rather live in an America, where it help it's people! Call me unselfish but I'd help the people that need help to!

do you realy think people will all of sudden be RESPONSABLE if they get free Birth control?

In clinics you can get free condoms, just ask around.

Sorry but most who fall Obama's lies has to be stupid.

The facts are out there all you have to do is some reserch.

The man should not even be president. He past has proven he had done not a damn thing to be in the white house or even in politics.
