‘Kill Romney’: Disturbing Page Appears on Facebook

For the sake of the political system, one hopes that this Facebook page is a joke:

It’s difficult to tell which is more terrifying – the fact that this page exists at all, or that it had “27 Likes” at the time this picture was taken (that number has since grown to 28).

Fortunately, even if 28 very troubled people do “Like” this page, the reactions from practically everyone else have been stunned and disturbed, and that’s true of both parties. Here are some selected reactions to the page, also lifted from Facebook (Warning! Strong Language):

Saw it on Drudge yesterday.  Every time I find a bit of hope for America, I see something like this, and wonder if we will survive as a country after all.

I saw an online article about it today.  It said the page was up for 17 days before it was taken off.

17 DAYS??  WTH is wrong with FB?  People can't like a post because of some stupid algorithm they have in place, but this kind of crap can stay up for 17 days before it gets taken down?? 

SO glad I do not have a FB account.  I think they are part of the problem we have in this country these days.

It was taken down and anything like the "rope" photo should be removed as well.  Anything like that toward any candidate, no matter the side, should not be allowed.
