Yes,

We were discussing it in another thread.  She started weak IMO, but then again, she's not a public speaker or politician so I cut her some slack.  She hit her stride and was sincere.  She had some quotes we will be seeing in the future for sure.

It could have been a good speech but it was delivered poorly. Chris Christie's speech on the other hand is fantastic.

Anne is a beautiful lady. I think I've heard all that she referenced before.

Christie... needs to get his personal health in order before he could ever be taken seriously. Sorry, he clearly lacks personal self restraint.

I agree, but I REALLY fault the campaign for not working with her and preparing her better.  Public speaking just doesn't come naturally for most people, and I think they were really counting on this speech to help improve Mitt's image.  While it didn't hurt him, I don't think it really helped him much either.  It was a lot of pressure on her, and for them to not have prepared her better just makes me SMH.

She does seem like a nice, genuine lady though.

I turned it off after she was talking about people struggling to make ends meet. Something she knows nothing about. Oh well~

I agree.  He really did a great job.  I thought it was interesting how they kept panning to Mitt.  At first he seemed excited, then sort of in awe, then he started to look kind of pained, and then towards the end it looked like he might burst into tears.  I think there is part of him wishing he had chosen Christie as his running mate.

I thought it was really strange how after she listed all of those worries that most average Americans have she sort of burst out laughing and said, "I know you!" or something along those lines.  That sort of, almost giddiness, seemed like a really strange emotion to be showing at that particular point in the speech.  Not long after that the camera panned to her sons and their wives and several of them had expressions that were sort of like, "WTF?!"  It was just awkward.  I feel bad for Ann.  It could have gone a lot better.

I know there has been a lot of talk about his weight.  I do wonder, though, if that is truly that big of a deal for most people.  Most of America is overweight and so I wonder if it would really make that much difference.  Is it something that, by itself, would keep you from voting for him, Sister, or would he not have your vote either way?

She looked great tho. That is something that some Republicans can pull off. I'll give them credit for sexy MILF any day.
