3rd parties

Who are you supporting and any reasons why one over the other? I am really sick of all the Rep and Dem talk when they are all one in the same. So far I really like Barr/Sheehan but mostly because they are two ballsy chicks who say it like it is. I was liking Jill Stein but it seems like she will continue the aid to Israel when such atrocities are happening. Sounds to me like she might have sold out? who knows.

Gary Johnson- His ideas on major issues ( economics, foreign policy, the war on drugs, less government intrusion) most closely align with my own. He was a  proven and successful Gov.

The fake 2 party system and corrupt campaign and elections processes need to go-

I have to educate myself more about 3rd parties.  I think a 3rd party is more than overdue.

I have heard about him but I am so weary of voting for a man. I am so sick of patriarchy. We need more women in all areas of government. There just wouldn't be as much war in my opinion. Does he have a running mate yet?

I am aware of the Libertarian Partys take on things so why if they are a "third party" option do they always go republican. I do not see the third party part of that.

Yeah I have no idea about that either. Never seemed like a real 3rd party option to me either.

In order for a third party to be viable there needs to be a strong state base in which to build off and GOTV.  Third parties running for President only with lower level support from the states is a waste of the candidates money and a waste of the people's vote.

Primer for third party votes:

  • A vote for the Green Party is support for Romney
  • A vote for the Libertarian Party is a vote for Obama

No message will be sent and therefore no message will be received by either Democrats or Republicans.  They see third party votes as empty protests, as one would expect from petulent teenagers.

If you want to effect change learn from the TEA Party and organize on the local level forcing change from within the Party at the grass roots level.  It has worked for the hard left when they took over the Democrat party and it is working now for the constitutional conservatives taking over the GOP.

Yeah I have heard all these reasons for why not to vote for a third party but I also believe that they will not be able to keep ignoring the voices of the people, especially with all the protests and third party coverage going on. People getting their news on tv are being brainwashed. The faster people unplug the easier it'll be to take over the elections. Way too many people have lost everything or are on the verge.
