Don't be angry that Barry -The Man-Child flubbed up. Keep it classy~

Quoting imamomzilla:

That extra 30 seconds would have made that much of a difference? *smh

If it were not for the bravery of passengers on the plane, the underwear bomber would have succeeded in creating ciaos. That's all we've had since Obummer was anointed. CIAOS. TSA frisking old people and checking diapers. Sick. Depraved.

Our currency devalued, credit rating down graded. Oy. Deficits as far as the eye can see..........

How can anyone defend this inept man? It boggles my mind!

Quoting CDMelty:

He should have stood up, said "I'm sorry to leave early but something's come up. I'm really glad to have met you all and I hope to be able to come back and hear the rest of this story as soon as I can." and then he should have left to meet with military and intelligence leaders. That's what he should have done.

We don't know that he kept us safe. We just know that neither the shoe bomber nor underwear bomber had good bombs to begin with. If they had had good bombs, if the shoe bomber's plane had blown up and the passengers had dies, would Bush get the credit for that the same way he gets the credit for all the planes that haven't been blown up? Does Obama get credit for allt he planes that don't blow up now? Where does a president's credit end?

Quoting imamomzilla:

How should he have reacted? Run out of the room, screaming? No, that wouldn't frighten the small, impressionable children, would it?

Fact of the matter is- he kept us SAFE after the attacks.

Quoting CDMelty:

And yet the republicans didn't feel Bush's presidency should end after he sat in that classroom listening to story time rather than jumping to action when we were attacked on 9/11.

Sorry - spell check time.  Chaos I believe is what you are trying to spell.  And, the TSA is trying to protect your non-spelling ass from "sick and depraved" individuals.  I'm sure it is does "boggle your mind" that someone will defend the President of the U.S., instead of standing in line with truly "inept" people of your kind.  You would be the first to complain if our government wouldn't have ramped up our security efforts at airports.  What a stupid comment!

Exactly.

Look at all of this hooblah over what Obama and Bush did. But, Obama is leading in polls in swings states at a time Romney should be gaining in polls.

Smells like desperation from the right. lol

Quoting Sisteract:

I have no problem with either President's (W or BO) response at the time of crisis. I do not want a reactive POTUS- I prefer cool response.

Now what about those latest swing state poll number released today? MR had better get on his horse (or Ann's) LOL-

Oh, and Romney used a TelePrompTer at the RNC. Hell, he walked away with a smirk on his face after his Press Conference about the US Ambassador that passed away. But, I don't hear people from the right (at least the ones on CM) bitching about that.

I have. And I wasn't really talking about this clip, just in general. Plus, people are still puking what was shoved down there throats about Bush, which is what I was responding to.

You're right. He should have run out of a room of 6 year olds screaming. SMH
He let them finish the story. He didn't go play golf or get a massage. No one has any problem talking about what Bush did wrong. The democrats have decided that Bush's screw-ups give Obama blanket immunity. Bush hasn't held a public office in almost 4 years. Obama has a job he wanted, sought after, and paid a fortune to get. I get tired of Bush's name being inserted into every discussion about what Obama is doing wrong.

A 53 second clip of clips isn't exactly a "discussion about what Obama is doing wrong".  Unlike this worthless video, there are actual intelligent debates going on all over this website and across our country.  If you truly feel that strongly about your opinions of Obama, then by all means, get out there and talk about it!  But, do thoughtful research of your own, don't just puke-up what is being shoved down your throat.

I mean, come ON, we all know it was a Cheney-Bush presidency.

Quoting shimamab:

No ones saying he should've run around like a frantic freak. There were more than two options on how to react. Maybe he was advised to stay and finish, maybe he froze and needed a minute to process. It prob didn't make much of a diff in the long run since people smarter and more experienced in defense were already engaged and in action.

Quoting tnmomofive:

You are entitled to that opinion CD of course.I just disagree.I explained why above. If it were Obama i'd have the same opinion.Finishing the story and keeping those children at peace imo would be the best way.

Bush did what he was advised to do. SS had to get unprecedented protocal moving and he ended up insisting on his return to the White House against the SS wishes.

Quoting CDMelty:

In all honesty, how would you see it if we were under attack, on American soil, and people were dying in large numbers RIGHT this very minute and we had no idea how many may be killed, how many more planes may be flying around right now with terrorists at the wheel, and Obama sat calmly listening to a sotry in a classroom? I'm a die-hard liberal and I'd be pissed. I would want him in the situation room, talking to military leaders and NSA leaders, as soon as humanly possible. Maybe there'd be nothing he could do, or maybe there would be. But I'd want him getting all the info, right this second, on the phone with people on his way to a meeting, not hearing the storybook. I don't care if he wears a cap or a suit, I just want him to be the commander in chief, not the photo-op dignitary, on that day. I realize that both of those titles are the president's job, but while we're actively under attack and being killed, I think he needs to pick one role over the other and he needs to do it fast. I think Bush picked the wrong role that time.

What should he have done...run to the nearest phone booth to reveal his cape???...push the nuclear code??? On the latter question, I'm sure that would have made the LEFT real happy.

BTW:  Years later those kids and adults in the room were interviewed.  Many said he did the right thing.

He was already in the room reading with the children.  He didn't choose them over dealing with the situation.  He finished what he was doing, and then went on to the important matter of dealing with the attacks.

I think some of it started with Clinton, some of it started with Bush. But I don't think Obama has really DONE much anyway, let alone done things that actively set the country on the wrong path. I think he's been too qussy, to bipartisan, caved too much to GOP bullies in Congress. Refusing to vote on anything, anything at all, until the richest people in America get their tax cuts extended?! That's not Bush, that's the GOP now. But cutting those taxes in the first place? That's Bush and Bush's administration. Torture, warrantless domestic spying, extreme rendition, practically eliminating the 4th ammendment, starting a second war (based on bad intel). Those were Bush and his admin, too. And the budget that caused this huge deficit was the 09 budget. The one that was on Obama's watch because it was his first year in office, the one that was already in effect for almost 3 months before Obama took office. That was on Bush's watch too. I don't think it was ALL Bush. But it wasn't all Obama, and it's a lot of stuff Romney wants to do again/still. I don't think that running on a promise of "I'll do the same bad stuff the last republican before me did" is a great way to get votes.

Quoting tnmomofive:

CD Do you honestly think this mess started with GWB? Is it only the fault of conservatives? Personally I have never stated that its all Obamas fault. This train wreck started before him but he has helped to make it worse.

Worse, I have this:

And he hasn't even been on the spot for that long, just imagine what it would be like after 4 years, lol!

Quoting imamomzilla:

How so? Do you have clips of him stammering and stuttering like Obummer?

Quoting Sisteract:

Obama may be bad. MR is worse-

The oligarchy's front man is a stammering idiot - I seem to recall Bush being a stammering idiot and Mitt Romney seems to be one too.

Quite voting for stammering idiots.
