Allen West Rips ‘Asinine, Naive, Inept,’ and ‘Incompetent’ Response to Middle East Chaos

Allen West Rips Asinine, Naive, Inept, Incompetent Response to Middle East Crisis

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) gave yet another no-nonsense interview Sunday, where the retired Lieutenant Colonel ripped the administration’s handling of the current crisis in the Middle East.

When asked by the Fox News host what he thought of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s “spin” that the deadly protests are a “spontaneous” reaction to a “hateful” YouTube video, West responded:

“It’s very simple.  When I listened to the U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice today, several words came to mind: asinine, naive, inept, incompetent, and borderline ignorant.  Because when you understand that the Egyptian government…put out a letter talking about a potential threat of attacks and uprisings about a week before this– it was even printed in the Jerusalem Post on 9/11.  And anyhow I can tell you…having been in a combat zone several times after 9/11, we were always on a higher state of security and alertness on 9/11.  It should have been the exact same thing here.

And for Susan Rice to say that this was not a well coordinated attack– first of all, I’d have to ask her what is her line of expertise in understanding what a well-coordinated attack is… This was not happenstance.  It was not coincidence.  This was well-planned, well-coordinated, and the president there in Libya confirms that.” [Emphasis added]

Watch video of the interview, via RightSightings, below:

West also said the United States has shown a consistent policy of “appeasement” during President Obama’s administration, explaining: “We have emboldened our enemies and really confused our allies.”

Actually, the tinfoil hat is very fitting for this thread.

I wouldn't expect anyone that spews partisan BS to understand that through.

Oh brother.

Sorry, I don't like Kool Aid. Try again.

Also, the statement you made is completely illogical. Then again, you love making illogical statements. LOL!

I prefer water. :) Kool Aid isn't healthy at all.

You can keep posting that picture. It says a lot about your maturity level.

Isn't this the same?

One side only presenting one side?

Like I said before, there are always 2 sides to any situation and rarely is one side 100% accurate.

There is no balance to this- so IMO, it is hard to take seriously.

FTR, I am voting third party-

I am always amazed at a group of people that are willing to sit and have an entire administration pat them on the head and give them what they want to hear, not getting to the "meat" of any subject.  We could find out what the health care bill had in it, only after it was passed.  We are getting a pat on the head and being told "it is all about the movie" when everyone with a brain can figure out is is not.  But these blind sheep, kool-aide drinkers keep letting the administration treat them like idiots and praising them while they do it.  Makes me wonder what they are afraid of hearing if the truth were ever to be told.

Pfft some of them know it isn't about the dumb movie but will still say it is so because they cannot admitt any responsibility lies in Obamas hands.

who cares what this guy says, he deserves no respect:/  I would sure like to know how the GOP would have handled this situations.  Let me guess, WAr WAr WAr, send our troops over there, borrow more money to pay for another unnecessary war:/

I have to admit that when I heard about this I did not think it was only because of the movie.  That may have been a jumping off point but I think it was planned out, it appears to be too perfectly done and very specific in who was killed:/ jmo.  We have over extended and over done our fighting in Muslim countries and we need to get out, period.  I also am suspicious of why Israel is trying to force us into a war with Iran, when if they feel so threatened why don't they do what they have to do, without our involvement unless it directly effects us.  I feel that it would stretch us to max capacity, leaving our country even more in debt, our troops too stretched out and money too little to handle at home situations.  I feel Israel has an agenda and our best interest is not a priority.

The thread was pretty much about the topic, and  alternate opinions until you brought this in.

Is this your normal M.O. ?
