Speak for yourself!  I am a Republican and the division of this country makes me sick to my stomach ... and guess when it all started?  When Obama took office ... he's "healed" nothing.

Quoting tpickle:

Well, I doubt if Obama can have a fair shot tonight, this country is still so divided and thats the way the Republicans like it.  The 47% comments proves that.   Republicans are sighting Reagan over and over again, claiming he won the election because of his debate success.  Hope is running high for Romney, they expect a miracle and they just may  think they see one tonight (II see a smart Romney).   Obama is healing the economy already, but people just can't see past the color of his skin.  I just hope there are a majority of Americans voting who can understand the truth.  I hope!

Yea when Obama took office and republicans vowed to do what ever they could to get Obama out. NOT what ever they could to help the country or what ever they could to work with Obama to make this a better country... Nope it was just getting Obama out.

Mitch McConnell does not speak for all of us as I would hope you would agree Nancy Pelosi does not speak for all Dems.  Obama has proven to me he cannot do the job.

Yep, because his stated goal was to destroy the country and rebuild it in his image.

If someone was headed to your house to commit bodily harm to you, should our response be "let's help him, or let's stop him".

Has to be a better way of saying something. Perhaps, "I think it is his supporters who can't get over it" would have been a better choice.

You know, in my personal expirience, I have only ever heard Obama supporters mention the color of his skin. I think it is you people who can't get over it.

Separation of church and state is for the protection of BOTH church and state.

Just curious about what President Obama has done that would define his term as disastrous? And how should it have been done differently.

Amen to that sister.. if I hear one more comment about his skin I will puke.. :LOL... I come from a school that was all white except four African American students.. called black back then.. They all four were my best Friends.. I still keep one as a friend today even though the rest have moved away.. Still and through all that Most of the people in my Prominently White community voted for Obama.. It was not the color of his skin that decided my vote but the look in his eye and the way he carried himself the first election that determined my vote.. If my Best Friend who is black decided to run for election I would vote for her in a heart beat... or maybe in Hillary.... truth to be known . I am not happy with either candidate..  I feel Obama did have his chance.. and did not come through with any of his main promises .. one of them being My son would not have to go fight in a stupid War in Iraq cause he said he was bringing them back.. What a lie that was.. My son did end up having to fight and lost many of his men in the process.. So that and a few other lies he told I will chose another liar now.. Lets see what promises he brakes.. Obama had his chance with me.. and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin... FEWWWYYY. With that.
