I HAVE TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR MY CHILDREN

Posted by   + Show Post

I HAVE TO DO WHAT RIGHT FOR MY CHILDREN.  I will not be able to send them to college, get them braces  and do all the things I want to do for them if Obama is elected.  His tax and spend policy will take money away from our household budget.  Already Americans household budgets have been reduced by $4,500.00 under Obama.  My husbands business is hurting and he has had to lay off employees.  I fear for my children's safety when I hear Obama tell the Russians secretly, on an open mike, that he will be more flexible in negotiating away our nuclear security.  And when I find out that he knew about the battle in Behghazi, Libya and could have sent in armed drones and fighter jets, even if just in a show of force and did nothing to save those Americans that died, well, it just makes me sick at heart. What kind of man cared more for his election chances than the lives of his Ambassador and other Americans? I care about America and my children.  I will vote for Romney on Tuesday.

Obama did not get Bin Laden.  The CIA, and the rest of the intelligence services did as well as obviously the SEALS.  They were sorely pissed that he claimed credit when he didn't even give the go ahead.  One of his subordinates did.  Why do you think they came out with the book No Easy Day?  They had enough of him selling their story to his Hollywood cronies.  Oh yes he bailed out the auto industry with our tax dollars so he could buy the auto workers vote.  GM got 35 billion dollars and now is trying to welch on 27 billion of it and not pay it back to the US government.  They and the rest of the auto industry could have gone through a court supervised restructure, lost no jobs and saved the tax payers billions of dollars.  But then Obama wouldn't have gotten their vote.  He has not done one thing for small business except come through with more regulation.  And middle class tax cuts?  Do you realize that the middle class will actually pay for the majority of his tax increases if he is re-elected?  The "rich" cannot possibley pay down his horrendous debt.  And I too took out student loans for my two graduate degrees and I paid them off.  I didn't ask the government or anyone else to pay them off for me.  Enough said - Obama is absolutely the worst president the United States has ever had and if you vote for him you are voting for not a free Republic , but a Socialist United States.  Shame on you.

Please tell me where you've heard this (other than the Obama negative campaign ads).  Romney in no way has said he'll do away with welfare.

Could you please provide a direct link to your source for this claim?

Which headline news?  Which article?

Quoting g-woman:

Source - Headline News.  When you combine, welfare with Aid for Dependent Children, SSI for dependents, food stamps and one of the over 47 welfare programs created by Obama, a house hold of 4 (average) can collect up to $60,000 in various kinds of welfare in America.  Oh, and be sure to add in the illegals who also collect welfare and send it back to Mexico so the taxpayers can support them too.

I'm doing what I feel is right for my daughter and voting for Obama. I don't want her to grow up in the world I grew up in and the world my parents grew up in. I don't want to take her backwards.

OP, our kids are screwed regardless of who the president is. The president is neither the problem nor the solution.

You are basing your fears on speculation more than facts. If you really want to do what's right for your children, DON'T vote for Romney. If your vote is a part of Romney winning, you can kiss everything you hold dear goodbye, as well as your childrens higher education, & your DHs biz.

Romney is a warmonger & he will do whatever he can to put more & more money into the military, & that money will come from you & every other taxpayer. Romney does not care about you & your family, nor does he care about any other American family. If you haven't realized that by now, you are in for a rude awakening if he is elected.

I don't support a nanny state. I don't support expanding welfare programs. I support myself, I am responsible, I am financially responsible. This is why I did NOT vote for Obama.

And one day you may, by no fault of your own, find yourself no longer financially responsible, & in need of temporary assistance to feed & house yourself & children. What will you do since you find assistance so disgusting? Say no thanks & let your children go hungry so you can continue feeding your self righteous ego?

Who said anything about it being disgusting? I said I'm not in favor of welfare expanding. We need a real welfare reform. Over 70% of those currently in welfare have been on welfare for 3 years or more, that is insane.
