Just 5 Votes for Barack Obama~

There has been some discussion on the news concerning Obama receiving a majority of the votes in certain Philadelphia districts. Here's a County in the lone star state not very fond of Barack Obama~

Obama regime is in default in the Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on a case of Obama's use of a stolen CT SSN

Far too late for all those deaf boys who were abused in WI- when the then Cardinal turned his back and moved the abuser instead of dealing with it head on-

Innocent and vulnerable children were ignored and abused.

Many wrongs do not make a right.

Rightly or wrongly,  I would hold a priest to a higher standard than a lay teacher,  a babysitter, scout leader or friend- Children, especially those schooled in the RC system, are taught reverence and respect for those connected with the church.

And as Cardinal Ratzinger, this Pope has a poor record in terms of this subject matter.

You are sadly mistaken Sisteract.....Pope Benedict has taken great strides to deal with this crisis in the Church. To bring about healing and love. He has met with many families of the victims, prayed with them,  offered hope and restitution for the sufferings they have experienced.

Pedophilia is prevalent with teachers and Buddhist Monks, the latter esp thru out the centuries. This grave sin should never be tolerated by anyone but I seriously question the sincerity of those who single out the Catholic Church. Parents send their children to school to learn, they trust teachers to prepare their children academically and socially in a society filled with many challenges and competition. Cases of sexual molestation with teachers & students are numerous. Pedophilia is commonplace amongst Monks. Well accepted and tolerated. This vile behavior is disgusting in any profession, spiritual or secular.....

The Time Has Come To End Child Monk Sex Slavery - Pedophilia Among The Buddhist Clergy

Sexual abuse of children inside the buddhist monastery has been so widespread but it has become a crime that is very difficult to bring to justice.

I so appreciate you sharing this very telling video of this small town in Texas.

I loved seeing these people talking:  straight forward, but in such a humble, honest way.

This is what they were saying:  After four years of the first term:  He does not tell the truth, even about small things, has a tendency to blame former President Bush for his current problems and claims to be Christian.

There is a saying that comes to my mind that goes something like this:  "If a man cannot be trusted in the small things, how can you trust him in the bigger things? "

By this man's fruits he is known.

He is reaping what he has sowed and continues to sow.....

Yep!  Yee howdy!  That's what them there true blue patriots from the lone star state are tootin'!  I have a few questions . . . 1) If they were truly "humble" wouldn't they just accept the results of the election and support our president? 2) If they were truly "honest" shouldn't they acknowledge the facts of history that GW made a big ole' mess and Obama is still cleaning it up? 3) Is questioning whether he is "truly" a Christian considered Christian-like? 4) Is Texas still wanting to secede from the union?  I vote yes!  Sounds like a perfect idea.  It would solve alot of problems.  Yall could go ahead and build that big ol' fence yall been pining for.  But, just around Texas.  Make it tall!  Electrify it!  Guard it heavily!  That way yall could keep out all the coloreds, gays, sinners, and loud mouth women with brains!

Answer To Question # 1- Being humble does not mean  accepting a situation and saying, "Oh, well.  There is nothing to be done about it, we will accept this man totally because he has won the election and that is the end of it."

It will never happen, no matter how much the people who are victorious Barack Obama won, would like for it to become reality.

What is very disturbing about you and other posters who believe the same way you do is that you believe we should  GIVE IN,  GIVING UP  wanting the highest standards possible for our leaders in government:  most of all for the man who leads our nation.

In my humble opinion you are settling for the lowest standards possible.

My No. # 1 observation at this point is that President Barack Obama is 100% supporting  prochoice (aka possibility of termininating a life, knowing FULL WELL what that implication is.)   In short:  HE DOES have the nation's backing in this.  This is what makes him popular, but BY NO MEANS a virtuous man, that all of us can look up to and respect.

It concerns me that many women are not concerned about that.

Answer to Question # 3:  Of course we can question if President Obama is Christian or not.  With all due respect, how and why we do this is something that right now is beyond your comprehension, so no more elaboration.

I prefer to answer concerning present and things I know reading the Bible of things to come concerning good men and those who defy God.

President Obama will be known in the future for what he really is, what the public in general refuses to see or are so blinded , they refuse to see.

President Obama is successfully hiding volumes from us, but it will come out. As has been stated before,  his promise of a translucent administration is one he has NOT kept.

This will be the only time I will answer you.  No more engaging me. You know in your heart of hearts why I choose to do this.

Sincerely,

Veronica

Veronica, I admire your patience to respond to the comment below. You articulate with honesty and intelligence. The wisdom of St Thomas is appropriate here. Those who believe, no explanation is necessary. Those who do not believe, no explanation is sufficient.

Again you are mistaken. The secular media are not interested in the truth about the CC and the sex abuse scandals. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger never turned his back on any of the moral problems facing the Church. His wisdom and sensitivity is to be admired and respected. Lies and deception are common place for the secular news when the Church is involved. The scandals are deep wounds for the Church but God will prevail. Your lack of concern of sexual molestation of children in other vocations is apparent.

http://www.ncregister.com/blog/jimmy-akin/cardinal

The real story is this: Benedict XVI is aware of the scale and the scope of the crisis worldwide. He has taken decisive actions (such as the removal of the founder of the Legion of Christ). He has intervened strongly in Ireland, with a remarkably honest and plain-spoken letter to the Irish Catholics, a visitation of top prelates to study the root causes of the crisis and how it was handled, the acceptance of several resignations by bishops, and a high-level meeting with Irish prelates at the Vatican. He has quite clearly led the way in encouraging local bishops’ conferences to address their scandals head on, and he has laid out the language for understanding the crisis: Endorsing the search for truth, calling for penance, not blaming the media or enemies outside the Church, but pointing to the enemies within.

Mistakes have been made. Grievous mistakes. Mistakes were made by bishops, by priests, by psychiatrists and police and judges and yes, even by well-intentioned and grief-stricken relatives. The cost of these mistakes is very high, and the Church will have to pay these costs. But efforts to make Benedict XVI part of the problem rather than part of the solution would be an even bigger mistake, for it is he who is providing real leadership on this issue.

It is Benedict XVI who is refusing to circle the wagons and understands the spiritual as well as the canonical and civil issues at stake. It is Benedict XVI who is championing the necessary reform and renewal that the scandals demand.

Yes, we know Obama is President. The current state of the economy, high unemployment, the failure of foreign policy, Benghazi tragedy, emboldened the terrorists, war between Israel & Hamas, Iran strengthening, sows division, Fast n' Furious, lies and deception lingering before he enters his 2nd term reflects the devastating policies of Barack Obama~

I so appreciate your thoughtfulness in choosing this topic on which to post, blondekosmic.

You are indeed using the gifts that God gave you:  the gifts of telling the truth and doing it with compassion and beautiful articulation.

You are being what God created you to be.

Well enough people did to make him president.

Never said Philly doesn't like Obama. In fact I mentioned there are districts in Philadelphia claiming the majority of their voters supported Barack Obama. Interesting to see if you will be flying the flag for Obama in 4 yrs!

She will, when she looks in the mirror she see Obama, that's all it takes for her.
