No one said he did it alone.   The better question, what has our leader done to balance the nations budget, and straighten the fiscal affairs of this nation out?

He has had 4 years.  And has only made it worse.  I bet he is really proud of himself.

Go over the cliff- raise the taxes on everyone- There's a start. Next, reduce spending-

That's what's going to happen if we go over the fiscal cliff. Spending will be decreased for everything. Defense and social. So, the liberals can go complain when their groups start getting less funding. They just think about the tax raises. And it's not going to help if everyone pays the higher taxes. We are just going to go into a recession, if we have even been out of one. It is going to get worse though if we go over that cliff.

Spending NEEDS to be decreased on EVERYTHING.

Yep, we will go into a recession, but we have to get the debt under control- it's the only way-

Spending cuts to all sectors

Raise the taxes on EVERYONE

Feel the burn and start the repair- it's the only way.

But that is what always happens, right?  We raise taxes, with the promise of spending cuts later.  And isn't that what Obama wants now, raise taxes (but only on the RICH, of course) and a blank check so we don't have to worry about a debt ceiling, and sometime down the road we will look at spending cuts.  Just like always.  I don't believe that there will be any spending cuts until there is no more money, when there is just no other option.  And I would bet that that will be blamed on someone else, too.....

who do people think is really going to be hurt if he raises taxes on the people making 250,000 or more. Its not going to be them they will just layoff or not hire people to balance the difference. Im sorry but ive never gotten a job from a homless man.

I'm with Sisteract on this one, go over the cliff.. suffer the consequences of that mad spending that has been going on for years and cut the hell out of some programs. If we just raise taxes on the rich as proposed, with worrying about spending cuts later we have just again kicked the can down the road to a higher and higher deficit. Eventually the bill comes due, does our generation begin paying for it, or our children's?

Of course, he didn't do it all by himself. He doesn't do much of anything except whine like a little b*tch.

The only thing Obama has ever done was insist on higher taxes. Now, he is going to get them. Because he wants to be a little b*tch. With his tax hikes, there will be automatic spending cuts. Things are about to get ugly for all of us.
