In my case if hubby is home, I'll be calling him first and 911 second.

Not me. I don't depend on anyone to pretect my family except my dh and me. I have learned in my life time if you depend on others to protect you, that will never happen. I was tired being the victim so I learned how to protect myself. I first protect my family, then call the police, so they know what happen. Never had to kill anyone, but have fired on someone who broke into my house.

I do not live a fear based life-

For all the Godspeak, why are so many people afraid that they're going to die?

Isn't the afterlife suppose to be better? Did you guys miss that message?

Your approach is so contradictory.

More guns won't solve the problem.

Many are afraid-

The best tools for keeping yourself safe and living a long life with your family are using your brain and maintaining your physical and mental vessel via proper diet and exercise. No weapons in the world are going to trump those personal behaviors and decisions.

And they were all unarmed. They don't walk around with guns on base. They use them for training, and the shooting was done in an area where there were no guns.

I beg to differ. Being in great shape is not going to repel a bullet if someone that is armed does break into your house.

I am not afraid it will happen, but if it ever does, we are armed and will defend ourselves.
