The Troubling Truth behind Roe v. Wade.....(very long)
I was having a hard time understanding the point of this post...until I got to 'The Blaze' and realized there is no point...
That has nothing to do with the court's decision.
McCorvey has had an unusual life, to be sure. However, she was just a game piece in the end. Eventually, the SCOTUS would have been forced to deal with this issue, and the outcome would have been the same regardless of who's name the case was brought under.
Quoting 1REALQT:
It was not from a rape that she became pregnant. She had cried rape in the hopes it would allow her to have a justifiable abortion. Later, she revealed she had become pregnant via a casual, short lived affair.
What 'message' is that? It's an article on the life of the woman...what is the point?
Quoting 1REALQT:
Which tells me you negated the message due to the messenger. FYI: I already knew the truth behind Roe v Wade and read this article in its entirety before posting it here. It is highly accurate, or i would not have posted it.Quoting LucyMom08:

I read the entire article. I have read other accounts and similar statements before this.
IMO she is and always will be the catalyst regardless of her dishonesty and seeming lack of integrity. Her story doesn't change my opinion of the case. IMO many court rulings and SCOTUS rulings are filled with deception and loop holes. I do rely on the intelligent supreme court justices to weigh in and cut through the bullshit.
Why is her life so important beyond R v. W? And how is it 'obvious I don't like this side of the issue'? I'm trying to figure out what that 'side' even is...
Quoting 1REALQT:
The point? How about the important life of the woman behind Roe v Wade? Look, its obvious you don't like this side of the issue, this side of truth. I think it is paramount, and that is why I posted it. I am very fair and objective, therefore it would not be right for me to ignore this side of the truth even if I don't like it.Quoting LucyMom08:

Why is that? You can't answer my questions?
Quoting 1REALQT:
I don't think I can help you, sorry.Quoting LucyMom08:

Haven't the changes in her life and position been known for some years? I'll admit that I did not read what you posted, OP- just can not read large/long text that is not broken into paragraphs ( poor eye site, even with tri-focals).
I agree that if not this women, it would have been another- she happened to be the catalyst.
If you really believed this, why did you post this text on a debate board?
Quoting 1REALQT:
The questions you posed can only be answered by you. You are asking me to think for you, I'm flattered, but not that confident. This is a personal opinion piece, you are attempting to make it a debate. The truth is not debatable. Good day.
I am so confused...you said her life was important...I asked why...you claimed I 'don't like this side of the issue'...I asked why, and asked you clarify what the 'side' was...not really hard questions...

And when did a personal opinion piece become hard fact?
