A young girl who was shot in the head by another young child died from her wound on Tuesday, the Kansas City Star reported.
Trinity Ross, 4, was shot on January 10 in her Kansas City home while her stepmother was babysitting three other children. All of the children were under six-years-old.
The stepmother had left the room, heard a gun shot, and then found Trinity laying injured on the floor, according to police.
The woman said one of the children found a loaded revolver in a jacket hanging a chair. The jacket was left by one of the children’s father.
Trinity was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. She was declared brain dead last week and later taken off life support.

I hope that woman is cleared and not prosecuted. I hope the man who left it behind is haunted every single day for his stupidity. What a sad, horrible situation for everyone who loves this girl.

The father of that child is to blame here totally. You secure your weapons, ALWAYS!!! Even if you don't have kids around, you still secure your weapons.

The parents need to be prosecuted to the fullest. No question about it. Negligence is unacceptable when it is so easy to be responsible.

Wow so OP can't post about that poor child's horrible death because it doesn't cater to the pro gun agenda?
I'm not anti gun myself, but its a news story. It can be posted about whether or not you like the timing. The article said nothing about being anti gun.
