Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Republicans want to extend the tax cut for everyone? All of these people were saying that they supported ending the tax cut for the wealthy, they just didn't agree with the exact number. That doesn't make them a Republican, lol! Also, Obama had some loopholes he wanted to see closed as well. That idea was bipartisan, I just don't think they could agree on the specifics. So again, wanting to close loopholes does not make someone a Republican.
