December 7th, 2012

Steven Crowder interviews some random people on the fiscal cliff, asking what they think it is and what they think should happen. But they’re surprised to learn that they aren’t as much a Democrat as they think.

Everyone is a curmudgeon until it comes to themselves-

No one thinks that they are a a special interest or considers it an entitlement of the ball bounces favorably in their court-

Human nature.

And you gotta love the "cliff" imagery.  :)

(Translate): I think you are saying you disagree with him. That's fine.

More importantly, what do you think of the point of his video and interviews, ie, the point of this post?

I didn't watch. I imagine the questions and video were designed to promote the Fox News ideals/ agenda. Not interested.

You would rather keep your head in the sand and imagine yourself safe and secure in the utopian myth of progressivism.

Not considering Fox News as a valid source for info is not keeping my head in the sand. You seem to be wrong on my political leanings. Oh well~

Steven Crowder is independent of Fox News - contributes there occasionally.

Come on, you big baby - it's only two minutes!  Not even 3.5% of a Game of Thrones episode.

Come on, be fair and intellectually honest.

Or I will unplug your HBO for the next 4-1/2 months.  :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Republicans want to extend the tax cut for everyone? All of these people were saying that they supported ending the tax cut for the wealthy, they just didn't agree with the exact number. That doesn't make them a Republican, lol! Also, Obama had some loopholes he wanted to see closed as well. That idea was bipartisan, I just don't think they could agree on the specifics. So again, wanting to close loopholes does not make someone a Republican.
