Did a CNN anchor blame asteroid on global warming?

CNN anchor Deb Feyerick asked Saturday afternoon if an approaching asteroid, which will pass by Earth on February 15, “is an example of, perhaps, global warming?”

Moments earlier, before an ad break, she segued from the Northeast blizzard to a segment with Bill Nye “the science guy,” by pointing to global warming: “Every time we see a storm like this lately, the first question to pop into a lot of people’s minds is whether or not global warming is to blame? I’ll talk to Bill Nye, ‘the science guy,’ about devastating storms and climate change.”

Did this seriously happen? Ohhhh my. If she was 'real' CNN needs to stop "leaning" into MSNBC's material. Lol

Yeah,

And we have these people doing the news.....................

For one, it shows she is not objective.  It's funny too that she cannot read a weather report and see the blizzard that just socked the north east.

The sad part is people believe her as a news source.

Maybe Jon Stewart on Comedy Central has an opening.  That really where she belongs.

The whole let's ask "Bill Nye the Science guy" about climate issues is nonsense to start with, his degree is in mechanical engineering.

Yeah, they think it's the cast offs that didn't make the Comedy Central shows.

Why didn't John Stewart mod a debate this last campaign season?  Most people would know him over that rather heavy Cand Crowly.

I suppose it is the same kind of doomsday/fantasy/conspiracy thinking that has led some older Russians to believe the meteor that fell in their country was actually a secret weapon made by the US. Seriously.

Entertaining, I suppose. And may mean the ouster of said CNN anchor. Please do it with Soledad O'Brien!!! Or better yet, leave her there. Always a good laugh.
