What Easter? Google Ignores Holiday, Instead Commemorates Cesar Chavez

Google’s homepage is known for its ‘Doodles‘ — temporary changes to its homepage logo to commemorate certain days. As defined by Google, its homepage changes are meant “to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers, and scientists.”

But on Easter Sunday, a day celebrated by over one billion around the world and by the vast majority of Americans, Google’s homepage is mum on the holiday. Instead, Google chose to commemorate Big Labor icon Cesar Chavez. (In 2011, President Obama designated March 31 as Cesar Chavez day.)

So what. It is the man birthday and not everyone cares that its Easter.

I'm a tattooed,pagan,pro-choice,pro-legalizing marijuana,pro-gay marriage,anti-war,non-vaxing,tree hugging, animal loving, book reading, animal testing free, depression battling, trying to raise a free spirit and letting her be who she is but still teaching her important life lessons, fighting for equal rights at the same time, don't like it get over it.

I just don't have the energy or time to give a rip about Google's decor, today or any other day. Private business, their choice. Who cares.

Thank God......it's Friday!!!

You'll love this...
Two days ago Obama declared March 31 as Cesar Chavez Day. You can find the proclamation on the White House website.
Doesn't surprise me at all that Google is honoring him today. Sick! Sick! Sick! These people that would honor a commie dictator. And how ironic on the day many in this country are worshiping a risen Savior that "sets the captives free".

I avoid google if at all possible.

Not everyone celebrates or believes in Easter. Maybe the folks that own google aren't Christian

Typical.  Google has a tendency to go against the grain.
