Have you ever change political affiliations?
Nope always been a Republican and will always be a Republican.
I have never changed my political affiliation, but I have voted outside that affiliation on many occasions, including the last election, if I felt the candidate represented me best.
This is especially true in local and state elections.
I'm registered Independant..always have. I tend to be more conservative.
Quoting -Celestial-:Liberal till I die..
My coworker John temporarily changed his registration to vote for Obama in the primary, because he couldn't stand the idea of having to listen to Hillary's voice for 4 years. (Yes, that was his real reason.)
He has regretted that decision for 5 years and counting.
He says now that Hillary's voice is not nearly as bad as Obama's policies.
before i went to register to vote my history teacher had me take a test which came out as a moderate leaning republican.... that was about 8 years ago. i now lean more democrat though but i haven't changed as far as registration goes. dh is registrated as independent but used to be a reg. democrat and still leans that way.
After much reading and soul-searching I could no longer be a part of either major party. I am now Libertarian.
what are we counting as ar as the poll goes/?;changed viewpoints or just what is on paper?
