Egypt’s President Rebukes Obama for “Encouraging Violent Groups”

Obama’s foreign policy has earned almost universal rebuke from around the world. Conservatives, liberals, libertarians, and the people of Egypt can see what should be plain: Obama’s policy of dumping weapons on radical groups, encouraging violence, and stirring up conflict is leading to civil wars and blowback terrorism.

Obama still refuses to stop dumping weapons all throughout the Middle East, even though he knows that the weapons are going to people on both sides of almost every conflict — leading to more bloodshed and decades more of resentment against the United States.

Now, even Egypt’s president, who is receiving arms from Obama, is sick of his encouragement of conflict, especially his encouragement of support for the Muslim Brotherhood who are pushing for Egyptian civil war. Egypt’s president’s words can be read below.

Al-Ahram, Egypt’s largest news organization, reports:

Egypt’s president on Friday suggested US President Barack Obama’s condemnation of a deadly crackdown on Islamists may “encourage violent armed groups”.

“The presidency fears statements not based on facts may encourage violent armed groups,” it said in a statement responding to Obama’s condemnation of Wednesday’s carnage when police moved to disperse Islamist protest camps.

“The presidency appreciates US concern for developments in Egypt, but it wished it could have clarified matters,” said the statement published by the official MENA news agency.

“Egypt is facing terrorist acts aimed at government institutions and vital installations,” the statement said.

Obama on Thursday said he was cancelling a joint military exercise with Egypt, adding he “strongly condemns” the security forces’ operation that killed more than 300 people in the Cairo protest camps.

Obama is the worst of all possible worlds when it comes to foreign policy. Essentially every aspect of his policies encourage terrorism, conflict, and violations of property rights. Al Qaeda grows stronger due to his “collateral damage” of civilians and the arming of Al Qaeda’s allies. It’s time to learn from Obama’s mistakes before it’s too late.

Amazing how the tides turn. 5 years ago, the world was rejoicing because American had voted Barry in. Now they're sick of him.

Why should it be expected that Barry treat the world any different than he's been treating the US citizens (and non citizens alike) but dividing and stirring up conflict. It's a GREAT deflectiion from the fact he's not doing a fucking thing except signing executive orders at laser speed, snooping on law abiding citizens, and planning drone attacks.

That is all in between rounds of golf with Tiger.

At least the Egyptian president recognizes terrorist groups! Unlike the American president, who apparently is clueless.

The approval rate of Obama in the Middle East is far lower than under Bush. So if you thought Bush was bad, Obama is so much worse to these people.

Can ya blame them? He helps one of his muslim brothers get elected then stands back and arms both sides? WTF?

Way to go Barry, just give the kids gas and matches to play with...nothing will happen right? It's not like it's bullets and guns..OH wait...they ARE bullets and guns...what a fucking hypocrit.

I never believed in the 2nd coming of the antiChrist..I'm beginning to rethink my stance on that...

Eygpts president is good buddies with the former dictator Mubarak. His vice president just resigned over the bloodshed there. The brotherhood is claiming 2000 were killed. A mosque was burned with 200 people in it, and this president is pointing fingers. We are still not saying whether it was a coup or not so they get 1.5 billion in aid, which will be converted into weapons. The Muslim Brotherhood was a political group that had the first freely elected president in Eygpt. They were ousted, and this president was installed by a military coup which the US won't call it that. NOW this president is bitching? Bastard gets 1.5 million in aid, and he is bitching. AMERICANS should be bitching about Christian churches being burned over there, and we are still giving those bastards money. We should be bitching like hell.

This goes hand in hand with the protection of isreal. America cannot turn their back on Eygpt.

Protecting Israel? They seem to be doing just fine protecting themselves (albeit with our financial assistance). He's been letting them run amok for 5 years.

We have been supporting Eygpt for 30 years. We supported dictatorships. We got the first duly elected president, and there was a coup ( that the US decided not to make a determination, so we could still give aid) and we are still supporting them. The US was supposed to have a joint military excercise over there and we canceled that. It is a mess.

Of course it's a mess...Barry "deals" by NOT dealing.
