I love hearing about the achievements of our young people! We have so many young African Americans in the world doing big things but society rather focus on the negative. God bless each of these young people.

The media does not "create" a damaging stereotype, the media reports NEWS.

Completely false.

The media falls all over themselves anytime an AA does anything even remotely good.

Isn't that true about any race? The media reports the bad stuff not the good.

The media should showcase the achievements of all of our youth, instead if glorifying the bad, imo. It would be one step towards reclaiming our youth, imo.
