So there is a post on people in a group stealing and some are saying they are not following their teachings. However this is not a true group of christians other than extremes. So for those who believe this, is it true that Radical Islam Al Queda are just muslims?

There are extremes in every religious group. They twist the religion to fit into what they want to fight for but that is not what their religion believes. I try not to let a few bad apples ruining my view on the whole group.

These people are called religious zealots.

The ones that Americans want to portray as "radicals" are the true followers of the true Islam religion.

Other followers fall short, just like Catholics may fall short by using birth control, or commiting adultery, or stealing, etc.....

Al Qaeda is definetly Muslim but I think what separates them from other Muslims is the word "Jihad" and how they practice it.

Just like Christianity there are different groups, like denominations of Islam. Many groups define jihad as an inner struggle, and non-violent. Fewer more believe that if it is violent it is defensive jihad.

Al Qaeda is not more Muslim than the next. They are not practicing true Islam and everyone else falling short. It's a different way of practicing. I also don't believe they are less Muslim for it either. Just different.

TheY believe they are doing the work their deity wants them to. Who are you or any of us to judge whether they are what they claim in the spiritual sense?

You (general you) can believe anything you want as long as you don't hurt, maim, or kill... I posted something a while back..had to do with "moderate" muslims who when polled and/or was asked  questions the majority still believed in "harsh" punishment in their laws.. That kind of surprised me.

Al Queda is an Islamic group.  Are all Muslims members of Al Queda, of course not.
