I couldn't believe the post I just saw about the best president!

(Not to insult Mickey or Bugs, but who would you choose?)

I would vote for Mickey or Bugs if they were the only 2 choices against Barack Obama.

I loved Reagan! He was absolutely the best thing that happened to this country since Lincoln! I voted for him twice!

OMG - Reagan was amazing. First president I voted for. Twice.

I recently saw a rerun of a 1967 show called "Firing Line," where William Buckley interviewed then-Governor Ronald Reagan. (See if you can find it online - You will love it.)

I believe he was in his late 40s then? He was charming and good looking. But most of all, he was so POSITIVE, he had that twinkle in his eye, that ready smile, that humor he always had as president. And he very clearly communicated the conservative agenda. When he talked about how California's taxes were too high in 1967, I about fell out of my chair, comparing them to now. He actually hired a team of experts to look at the state budget and expenses for maybe 6 months or a year max, to suggest how to make it more efficient. It was so easy to like Reagan then and when he was president.

So different from Obama, who is such a prickly and polarizing figure. Bush was polarizing too, but at least you could like the guy. He was phenomenal recently on Leno's show. (Look that up, it's great.) If I were a beer drinker, I would have a beer with Reagan or Bush, not with Obama. I think you would need a 100-year old $500 bottle of wine to please Obama.

I have not seen a positive president like Reagan ever.

Obama said some time ago he wants to be like Reagan. Ha. He can't compare with him. As the biblical example goes, he can't even untie Reagan's shoes.

Tough call. Bugs is a known liar and trouble maker but Mickey is the head of an evil corporation.

Thank God......it's Friday!!!

Mickey.

I was born in '83 so don't really remember or know Reagan but since then I'd have to say Clinton.
