Good write up re: the recent "resignation" of Mozilla CEO for an anonymous $1000 donation SIX YEARS AGO to support California's Prop 8.  Curious how this donation became public information in the first place, but that aside, have we really slipped this far?  All that matters is conformity of thought and conscience?  It's utterly outrageous.  I can be the biggest damn supporter of gay "rights" but this type of gross intimidation and groupthink defeats their message entirely.  Whatever you do, don't piss off the gaystapo---wouldn't want a little thing called freedom to stall their momentum.

the gaystapo

I was going to say that I agreed with you that personal opinions expressed not on company time shouldn't necessarily be held against an employee when they don't affect that employee's ability to do their job.

But you lost my sympathy by using the phrase "gaystapo".

As I have stated continually - they are not looking for equal rights - they are looking for special rights.

I don't post things for "sympathy" or even agreement.  Furthermore, if your support for freedom of political speech is so malleable that a catch phrase for a near-fascist radical movement of people deters you, then I don't know what to tell you.

There is a very vocal minority of gay activists who will not rest until all thought is compliant, hence the term.
