What is Spiritual Warfare, in the context of applying or not applying to any specific CafeMom thread?

How does one determine if a particular thread is a battleground for souls?

How do you seperate something being the devil's influence, from behaviour that is the poster's own responsibility?

Bumping for later/tomorrow. I've eaten too many jelly beans and feeling a bit hyper still. I'll have a good answer IMO tomorrow.

Thank you for making the post, Clairwil.

I believe that everyone online has a tone of voice:  inviting, joyful, hopeful are the positive ones.

Being critical, condescending, and rude are examples of negative ones.

I was the one that said that a post is a battle ground for souls.

Kind spirits are, in my way of thinking as a person, is when one possesses good manners.

Ones of attacking, being condescending, haughty, ect are ones that are in the personalities of people.

Knowing Spiritual Welfare has been a great analytical tool for me, knowing how to read people and discern their tone of "voice".

I will be talking as a Roman Catholic.

Not many people really know about the devil and Spiritual Warfare.

Christians are more aware of it.

It is important if we are going to recognize and discern what the "spirit" is in a person to know where they are coming from, to put a label on the spirit, then make a choice as to how we will deal with them, talk to them or pray for them.

Christians and Catholics both recognize the devil and will use Spiritual Warfare to combat the spirit.

There are Holy Scriptures that can be prayed to be free of the devil's influence.

I am not talking about being possessed.

I am talking about people's behavior, letting the spirit of Satan influence their words, actions and attitudes.

I believe all sin is an influence from the devil but at the same time God gave us a mind and natural instinct to know right from wrong in addition to what we are taught is right or wrong and based on that Satan's influence or not we all are held to an accountability and responsibility of our actions.which is why our actions most often come with consequences.

After reading this reply I think I misunderstood the question and my reply was not the answer to the question being asked.

If we are talking about poster's words and tone of voice then I was way off.

I think we misread each others tone of voice often. There are too many times to count that I have been accused of "being angry" when I was not at all angry but just making a statement.

If someone were to talk with me in person they also would find that I speak a little different than how I post/reply. I have a very sarcastic humour as to where it is obvious in listening to me that I am being sarcastic or using a figure of speech but if I were type it out as I would say it readers would not pick up that I am being sarcastic or using a figure of speech.

I have also learned that it does not do any good in getting my point accross or trying to make a point of something if I fight or argue about it. I have gotten to where I don't waste my time with it any more. I used to always have to have the last word now  instead of having the last word being so important that I will argue on and on I much rather just back out and leave well enough alone.

I guess I seen from others arguing and fighting how bad it makes them look I realized how I must look when I do it.

About tone of voice:  It is not just one reply for me, it is many.

It becomes a consitent profile, especialy when one person uses condescnding words, or conversely joyful words, over and over.

I can feel when a person is joking, happy, irritated, loving, critical, ect.

It jumps off the page at me...

Nor everybody has that ability to recognize spirits in that way.

For me it is having the gift of discernment of spirits, given to me by God for His purpose only.

It helps me to recognize the difference between a benevolent spirit or a malevolent one.
