Yehuda Remer

An artist has taken a series of historic black and white photos and converted them to stunning color images giving an entirely new perspective to the different historic moments.

“No colorized photo can replace the original black and white picture, but each will give you a new perspective on how your grandparents and great-grandparents used to see the world. Rather than living in the misty grey world we usually see, the sun shone just as bright, if not more brightly, on them.”

Wow!  The differences are amazing!  There are all kinds of emotions that differ, too, with the different meanings behind the pictures.

Yes it is nice to see it does give you a whole different in site. I do like the black and white for older photos from before they had color though. I always like things their original way and the black and white makes a statement of the time and era they are from.

Have you seen Gone With The Wind when they redid it with Technicolor? That is my absolute favorite story of all time. I do not like movies but I have watched it a dozen times and read the book at least 3 times and the sequel (Scarlet) witch i don't think there is a movie of and I could never tired of it.

Beautiful. My husband and I do black and white photography from film. It's an art piece. Both that and color can tell such an inspiring story. Loe this article

Every post of substance you simply post a sweat pea.

This one motivated you to pull the keyboard out.

I love the photos.  Pictures say a thousand words:)  I prefer the black and white, I love the simplicity of black and white photography.

What is this color thing that you all are speaking of?

There is black,
There is white.
