Suspects Laugh as They Follow 18-Year-Old Into Her Apartment Building — What They Do Next Is Hard to Watch

Police are searching for two suspects who followed an 18-year-old woman into her Brooklyn apartment building and violently attacked and robbed her after she entered the elevator. The extremely disturbing assault was captured on surveillance video.

In the video released by police, the two thugs can be seen laughing as they follow the young woman into the building. When she gets into the elevator, one of the men follows her in while the second suspect blocks her from escaping and grabs her by the neck and forcibly drags her into the hallway.

The obviously brave 18-year-old fights back, seemingly punching one of the men in the face as they attacked her. However, she was overpowered by the men, who pinned her to the floor and violently beat her before finally taking off with her purse.

Both suspects are black males believed to be in their 20’s. The heavier suspect is described as weighing approximately 240 pounds and was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt, beige shorts and a backpack.

Police say the thinner suspect is believed to be between 20 and 25-years-old and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and multi-colored pants.

“Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous police tip line Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477),” WPIX-TV reports.

 Give me a break.

It is all over the news.....in the Tri State area.  Its considered LOCAL news because violent assault happens all the time in various parts of the country, so are each of them news everywhere?   They only have so many minutes available to present the news.

That's true.

If one is a Progressive leaning news director the segments presenting blacks in a bad light, often don't make the cut.

Well, I hope she's okay?  I know it's tough being mugged, it takes a lot out of your emotions and the loss of trusting takes time to get back.

It seems that as the last guy got on the elevator she realized something was up.

I myself haven't see it in the news, but that's because I've been watching the evening news by the time I get home. News 12 Westchester doesn't show what happens in the New York City.

Except locally it has made the cut, many times over.

National news has about 20 minutes or so every day to present its material.  You want to explain to me why yet another NYC assault would make national news?

Its NYC....a crowded city with a large pockets of impoverished, unemployed people.  Violent assaults, burglary, robbery.....its a daily occurrence.

Scumbags. I hope someone finds them and beats the living shit out of them, before the police find them.

Well let's think about that.

Some number near 100,  percent of muggings are perpetrated by blacks.

Acts that show blacks in a bad light don't make the cut.

See the prob?

 100%??  Not even close.

I told you, it does make the cut.....locally where muggings are normally reported.  Muggings don't make national news unless there is something extraordinary about it.  Other than this being caught on video, the story itself is disturbingly ordinary and yet it still made the local news, probably because of the video.

You do realize that you tend to see things that aren't there.  You may want to seek help for that.

If the number is not close to 100, what do you think the number is?
