DD1 is Atom

What about your hockey player(s)?

 My 16 year old is in Midget, my 13 year old is in Bantam, my 10 year old is in Atom and my 5 year old is in Mite

We don't have Atom or Novice here either. We have Squirt and Pee Wee. I'm in Minnesota.

My son is a 1st year Pee Wee. (12 years old)

My son is not with a team yet. He's still in his beginner mode. I hope 6 is not to old to start. I seen a tiny 3 year old skating and was wondering if I started to late.

I don't think you started too late. Our town is a huge hockey town so most kids start at 4 but I know others who start around 6 and 7 and they do fine.

My son didn't learn to skate until 6, and he didn't start hockey until 8. I'll admit he's had to catch-up some, but he plays really well against his peers. I wouldn't say your son is starting too late.

So I took Jaedyn to the Hockey learn to play free day and they told me that I can sign him up for mites. They were really impressed with his skating skills. Now he just has to practice more on the stopping LOL. I am thinking of having him take some figure skating classes on the side.
