Ok so i got the Paragard after giving birth to baby #3 and use to be i was able to feel the string on it and just the other day i went to check and i don't feel the string..
should i be worried? or call my doc?? HELLPPPPP
made the appt :) ty ladies, its aug 6th. we'll see whats going on in there :D
8/6/12: well my awesome friends, it seems that the nausea, fatigue, breaking out IS normal with ParaGard and the not feeling strings thing isn't out of norm. Its because my hormones are still adjusting between giving birth and the paragard :). *Whew* Mine were curled up is why i didn't feel'em. I mean i would have loved to be pregnant again just not 4-5 months later lol

I don't know what Paragard is, is it a form of bc? If you can't find the string I'd call your doctor asap just to make sure everything's ok.
I've never had an IUD, but I would definitely call your doctor. I've heard of them slipping out of place and causing problems, and you obviously don't want that to happen.
