What are you wanting to experience this week? It's Monday and a great day to start getting clear and learning how to stay clear about our desires.
What are your goals for today and the week?
What do you see as "problems" to getting them accomplished?
I'll start. Today my goal is to get more activity in this group. I know that we have many members but not all join in.
What are my options?
I can create new topics of conversation.
I can send a group email inviting everyone to join us here.
I can blog about the group.
I can promote through links and networking sites.
Some of my challenges are
time
sticking to my plan
Action plan
I will start new topics.. this one is the first.. already started that.
I will set aside a given time each day to visit here and write more
While this is a small goal and easily accomplished, it's a good example of what I am talking about.
When you write down your goals one at a time and go through the process of it from thinking to doing, you get clear about what you really do desire to do.
A lot of the time people try to plan too many goals at once. This is a sure way to get burned out and feel frustrated.
When writing down your goals be fair to yourself. Make a list of short term, today's goals, then the week's goals, the month's, the year.
When you break them down it's much easier to see yourself accomplishing them.
Continue with the steps I outlined at the beginning of the post to discover the process of getting them done and how to move past any challenges you might encounter.

Well, for today I finally managed to get out of bed.
Last night I had a little epiphany. I don't enjoy my job so why stay? I want to be an editor. Freelance or with a company. So I put up an ad for freelance editing on craigslist. I just leave that up to the Universe.
Last night I was pretty much crying really hard because I want this so bad. Not forcing it, it was really a happy cry.
For today I have to take my son to the Dentist. His teeth need a lot of work and I have been putting it off for way to long. After that I will try to catch up with the people who want me to tutor them.
One of them happens to be an Iraqi Catholic Priest. Very interesting.
I am laying aside the cursed hows and just going with the flow for this one. I refuse to detail all of this, I'm just seeing myself in that publishing house, in that office happily reading and correcting manuscripts.
Why would I want to do that all day? Because I love to read. I have this uncanny ability to spot mistakes even in books that have already been published. I even caught two spelling mistakes and a grammar mistake in one of the Harry Potter books. I'm not surprised since those books were hurried into publication.
I don't have my degree yet but I don't care. I won't let that hold me back anymore. My job now, selling shoes to children at Nordstrom, just isn't cutting it. My mind turns to mush.
So everyone cross your fingers for me!

What a wonderful group of successful women we all are. I am delighted to read each of your words, it inspires me and encourages me.
I really get the not pushing the details. That has been my biggest challenge.. not trying to control every aspect of everything in my life. LOL
I used to laugh and call it the oldest child syndrome. ![]()
A while back I realized it was lack of trust. This was a big eye opener for me. I looked at the why of my wanting to control and it took me to childhood.. don't most things/???? LOL
As the oldest child I was given a lot of responsiblity early on and it just kinda stuck. It took a bit for me to work through it and begin to trust Source to provide abundantly above and beyond what I asked for or wanted.
A good meditation for me was to sit and look at all the leaves on the trees, the clouds in the sky, to think about the grains of sand all over the beach, to contemplate the "abundance" that covers up this planet/universe.
I would make statements like, " I trust in the goodness of life, I trust in the principle of abundance, well being, success, joy, love.. etc.
I became aware more and more of opportunities to practice trust. I also began stating that "I give myself permission to be wise".
By being consciously aware of my connection with Source/GOD.. I tuned in more and more to the principle of BEing.. rather than just feeling like I had to DO all the time.

Wednesday's goal; feeling good
Feeling good is so important. My number one priority each day is to feel good. It is a way of thinking, acting, expecting for me.
Feeling good changes you inside.. it changes your expectations, it lifts your vibration higher and makes it easier to receive all the good and perfect gifts that are waiting for an open door to enter your life.
How do I feel good when things are not the way I want them to be? I get that question a lot, really a lot.
Stop for just a moment and think about something fun, exciting that happened in your life. Allow yourself to really see and feel it. Ah, that feels better doesn't it?
Throughout the day take time to focus on images, memories, flowers, children's laughter, whatever feels good to you. I realize that it's not going to take you from really bad feelings to the mountain top of feeling good.. but it will make a difference. The thing about thoughts/feelings is they also attract unto themselves in their own image. So the more you choose good feeling thoughts.. the more good feeling thoughts come your way. Hang your hat on them.. flow with them.
Make it a priority to FEEL GOOD today.. and watch the magic happen.

That can be tough if you let it.
Don't give into the fear, face it and be honest about it.. then choose better feeling thoughts.
I know you can do it. Trust your son to be safe.. trust Source to provide him with awareness of his wisdom.
Trust yourself to keep him in a bubble of light and love.
Know that we all love you and support you in this circumstance.

How to stay focused on the goal;
Have you ever felt that you were doing and thinking, saying and hoping all the right things and just not getting anywhere?
Do you ever look around you and feel discouraged about what IS?
How do you stay focused on the goal when it seems to be taking too danged long to come into reality?
First check in with yourself and make sure you are sending out mixed signals. Mixed signals are those thoughts that go around in your head often times without much awareness on your part. They sound something like this, "oh my, this isn't working, things are really tough right now, there is just too much to do, I'll never achieve this, people and circumstances are working against me, I'm broke, there isn't enough time, money, help."
You will know when these are going on inside your head due to how you are feeling. Your feelings are your number one way to stay aware of what signal you are sending out. When you feel good, hopeful, loved, successful, happy.. then you know you are sending out energy in line with your desires.
When you catch yourself off track go back to the basics. Remember you are training yourself to think and create differently. Bring out the vision board, play the what if game, spend more time imagining living your dreams right now. Make a long list of all that you are grateful for.
Take a long walk and be aware of the beauty and abundance all around you. Allow yourself to feel the beauty and love that surrounds you at all times.
Awareness is your best friend. When you stay aware of what you are feeling you can easily shift your thoughts to be more in line with the life you envision.

How Can I do that?
There are two types of thought. One is the "I don't have the money, time, skills, etc to do that"
The other is "How can I do that"?
The first is poverty, self sabatoge thinking.. the second is proserity thinking.. which one are you?
Listen to what you say to your children when they ask for something not in your budget. Do you tell them you can't afford it or ask yourself and the Universe "how can I do that"?
I challenge you today to a new way of thinking.. and living. Each time something comes to your attention that you desire.. ask the Universe and the Wise Inner You... How Can I Do That"... and then listen.
