I want to say that I was able to manifest an paper that I wanted approved and I am beyond happy that I was able to do that.
I want to lose weight and I have found a picture of a woman who is a bit older then me but has a nice figure. While I was in college I had a teacher who got everything that she wanted manifested excepted for one thing. She had put a picture of a woman who was older then her and since she was still younger then that woman it had not happened yet. I was wondering if I would be disappoined by not losing any weight if I used her picture to manifest that. She is 25ish in the picture and I am currently 19. Should I put something such as this is me at 20 years old or should I try and find a picture of someone else. I would take my head and put it on a picture of her but when you lose weight your head usually doesn't stay the same weight.
I have dreams and some of them I actually would like to come true. I don't know how to go about this seeing as you can't take pictures of your dreams. Would writing I would like the dream I had on such and such a date work or is this a lost cause?
How specific do you have to be in the wording?
The most relevant question that you can answer to yourself is "How do I feel while I look at this picture?"
Attracting what you want is all about how you FEEL, not so much what you do Try not to get too caught up in the details, because your power is in how you feel, that is what law of attraction is always matching. If you look at this picture and feel excited and free and joyful and all those other wonderful high vibrating feelings, then I say put that picture in a place you'll see it often, or even keep it with you. However, if you look at this picture and feel a sense of lack or struggle, or as though your desire is far away from you, then I would look for something else that feels better to you.
No matter what picture you use, the point is that you understand and believe that you can always get to where you want to be, no matter where you are. When you can really embody and believe the truth in that, then you'll find that lots of pictures and words that represent your desire will feel perfectly wonderful, possible, and joyful to you. There's nothing more splendid than putting a beautiful photo up on my vision board, and then going about my day running errands, doing things, and feeling like I'm seeing that same photo everywhere I go. LOL. When that happens, that's how I know that I am lining up my vibration with the vibration of my desire, and that's what it's all about. So my point is, allow yourself to notice all those little things that come up after you powerfully decide that you are going to manifest something you want. It's important to remember that we are always attracting, the only question is are we attracting deliberately or inadvertantly? Notice the kinds of things and people and conversations and products that show up after you decide that you want to attract something. This is powerful information about how closely your vibration matches the vibration of what you want.
Here's another relevant question to answer, and this goes perfectly along with what I was just explaining, "What about my body do I already love and appreciate?" In other words, what evidence of your desire can you see as already happening? This is really important, because your power is also in your now - what you feel now, you manifest later. So the more you see your desire as already happening, the faster you become a vibrational match to the dreams you hold in your mind.
I remember when I first started this process, I thought that I needed to learn how to do it "right." lol. But the most important thing that I've come to understand is that 1) all of it is perfect and right and 2) all you have to do is practice feeling good, it really is that easy. The better and the easier we feel about things, the more easily our dreams come to us. Play with this. Allow yourself to dwell in what you most appreciate about yourself and about life. There are so many reasons to feel good, that's the name of the game. :) Play on!
High Vibes!

The only important thing is to enjoy the process.
Making it hard, well.. it only makes it hard. LOL
If it feels good and keeps you in that place of feeling good.. then go for it.
Any tool that helps you feel good and stay in line with what you want is the way to go.
Just have fun with it..
Love yourself well.. always..

I agree with these ladies; also I just wanted to say if your doubting anything will work for you it will not. Know you are what you want and be grateful for what you have and you will get it. Because you already know it is there coming to you at this very moment. "smiles" And always: feel great!
I've posted a picture of a girl hiking who looks like me, is about the same age and is obviously in great shape. I posted it about two years ago on my fridge. I've had a pregnancy and baby since and that picture is still on my fridge...I pretty much look at it anymore as if , IT IS ME I'm looking at... I've lost beyond my baby weight and am closer to the image that I could of ever imaged... I've done nothing particular (no excersice or special diet), but I have lost weight and am getting closer to that image everyday. I'm a believer!
good luck...do what is good and feels good and it will be good!
It's really about enjoying the process. The picture you pick has little to do with your beliefs about you and your weight. smile
Perhaps you could take a photo of you and through a photo editing program size it to what you desire. or just cut away part of the photo. Take your face from one photo and tape it over the other picture. Just have fun with it.
Stay aware of your body talk.. that stuff you think about yourself.. It's really important. Loving your body is a wonderful experience. Think of all the wonders your body makes it possible for you to experience. As I've gotten older I am even more delighted with my body. I can feel a hug, the wind on my face, hot and cold, the taste of food, walking, resting in a hot tub of water. Place some focus on enjoying your body right now.
When I started Taekwondo a few years ago.. I had just celebrated by 50th birthday. There were several folks who felt it necessary to warn me that "at my age" I couldn't do it. Well.. I just must have missed the can't gene... cause I did it.. LOL
My point is.. you are the deciding factor.. not pictures.. not the opinion of others.. YOU decide it all.
Enjoy,
Donna
