New Mommy in a NEW area!!

 Hey all,

I am kylie..I have a little man named Lalan who is almost 5 months old. I work from home and we are really looking for a playgroup to spend sometime outside of the house with.

I know he is really young but the socialization for not only him but me is important. I want to get him out of the house as well as myself.

I am new to the area we just moved from Jacksonville, N.C.My hubby is just getting out of the military so we are adjusting to the "civilian" life in a new area.
I am originally from Celina, Ohio...and I don't know anyone with the area right now, we are in hilliard, which is not far from the columbus.

I would love to meet other mommies, especially those with little ones around Lalans Age, however older or younger is perfectly fine.

Also is there are do any of you do a "stroller group"?..Where moms get together and walk/jog while there little ones relax in the strollers? We just started getting out and walking a few miles with the stroller and where we are from there was a group it would be nice to do something like that..of you dont do anuthing like that and would love to start just let me know!!

Welcome to the area!  There is so much to do around town!  The Zoo, COSI, the metro parks, etc.    I don't know about any stroller groups but there are lots of moms groups around. 

I have 2 boys.  The oldest is 4 and the youngest just turned 1.  I am currently a SAHM.  I'm not far from Hiliard.  We could meet up sometime if you want.

hi i'm Ashlea i have a 1 year old son and i'm 6 months pregnant with my second child. The stroller group sounds fun and maybe we could get together and "do" Columbus.

Hi there! Welcome to Columbus! My baby girl will be 6 months old next week, so our babies aren't too far apart! I live in Galloway, which is right down the road from Hilliard. I work a pretty dumb schedule (1:30-7:30) so I don't know how convenient I'd be for play dates, but weekends are usually open.

I too don't really know what all to do in Columbus with an infant. I've lived here for years but I don't get out much besides work. I'm hoping to change that now that I have a little one to take out and have fun with!
