we are in between there and looking for some playdates. I have 4 kids and I sah with them and love it.
Also we moved to Columbus last year and I was wondering the school district there any good schools?
I live on the southside of Columbus (about 5 minutes from Obetz). I am a sahm of a 3 year old. During the day, I babysit. I have 2 full time regulars and 2 part time regulars. We go on "field trips" about once a week. We have been working on earning badges with the Metro Parks programs.
Personally, I do no care for Hamilton Local Schools. I went there for most of my education and they are far behind the other school districts. I've heard bad things about Groveport Schools. I am on the fence with Columbus Public.
yeah we decided on virtual homeschool so no public school for her. yeah!

Hello I am a working mom but my kids vary in ages two girls 14 and 7. One boy 9mo. We live on the old airbase housing Obetz/Rickenbacker and my girls have attened Hamilton Local Schools for two years now. I've never had a problem with them there however, to be honest I've never really looked into the ratings to see where they stand compared to other schools. Before this we lived in Grove City for 3yrs and I did love the South Western School district there. It's too bad now they lost a lot of programs due to budget cuts. As for Groveport Madison Schools I have heard they are little rough around the the edges but I've no personal experience there. Best of luck to you in the area. We moved to Col about 6yrs ago and I've enjoyed so far.

I Live in the area, and work in the area also. I have my first beautiful little girl on the way. She will be here on or hopefully before the 18th. I know she will be young however i would like to meet moms in the area ahead of time, since i don't know any. Like I said i live in the area, just not in Groveport or Obetz, but i am only about 5 mins.

I just moved to Grove City but lived on the east side and grew up in Groveport. I'd love to know more moms around the area because I know no one.
My personal opinion... Groveport sucked. When I was in 5th grade my dad was told by one of the teaches that I didn't need to learn spelling because there's spell check, and I didn't need to learn math because everyone uses calculators anymore. I had a horrible experience in the high school as well. I would NEVER send my child there, but that's my personal choice.
