Who Do People Say your Kids Look Like?

I was totally shocked today when someone told me DS looks just like XH.  I swear he looks just like me as a kid.  He has curly hair, blue eyes, and is adorable.  XH has pretty straight hair and green eyes.  I think DS is a mini me, but other say he looks like my Dad, XH, or XFIL/XBIL (they look the same, one is just obviously a much younger version).  Do you hear many things?  Are you sometimes shocked when people say your DC looks like someone, and you don't see those traits at all?

I think my dd looks just like me. I took her to get her nails painted, and the woman said, "she must look like her dad. She doesn't look like you." I wanted to hit her.

Everybody, and I mean everybody says ODS looks like DH, and my younger two look like me.

Ugh this is what I worry about.  It's funny because men say DS looks like XH and women say he looks like me or my Dad (I look nothing like my Dad, btw).

When my son was born, he looked just like my husband. We even joked about our son being his "mini-me." :) As he's gotten older, people say he looks like me. I don't see it. He's too cute to look like me :) I still think he looks like my husband. Actually, he really looks like his aunt (husband's sister).

 When she was a newborn she looked exactly like DH.  Now, I have heard that she looks like DH and then later I will hear she looks like me.  I think she is a good blend.  She has my eye shape, his eye color, his nose, my chin, his curly hair, my hair color, and she has the same cute gap in her two front teeth just like her dad.

My son is my spitting image. I always say that even my ovaries are outgoing bitches, because my son is my clone! LOL....

Although now, it's crazy how much he is starting to ressemble his stepfather. I guess it's the mannerisms, and the way they talk, and the fact they are both blond. People always think he's Jason's, and my son hardly ever corrects them now. :)

With DS, I have always been told how much he looks like his dad - but if you were to see my baby pics, we are nearly identical. It's his coloring - I'm as fair as fair can be, and his dad is Mexican, so DS is much darker. Now that he's getting older I can see his dad in him some, but his features still favor me more.

DD on the other hand, I get told all the time that she looks just like me. Only, she is a total clone of her dad! It's because DH has dark hair/eyes, and both DD and I are blonde/blue-eyed. DH was blonde as a kid, though, so when you see pics of him as a young child it's much more obvious.
