first of all i am so pissed off that i can barely sit at work. as soon as my boss gets back from lunch i'm telling her i need to leave. this is the reason why...my son is at my in laws house because they watch him. my fil likes to ride my son on the lawn mower which i don't like. well he texts me and tells me to call if i can talk. so i call him. he said that him and my son were on the lawn mower and he got a call so he turned the mower off and took the call and my son starting throwing a fit and was trying to turn the key to the mower on and in the process of that he fell on the muffler. he said that he got off the phone and picked my son up and asked him where it hurt. he said my son showed him his hand where he blistered one or some of his fingers. he said that they started riding the mower again and he said that he again turned it off because it was getting to hot outside. they go inside and my mil asked my son where he hurt and he pulled up his shirt and there are blisters on his stomach. i am so pissed off because i have told my husband numerous times how i don't like his dad to ride my kid on the mower expecting my husband to say something. it could have been a whole lot worse. what do i need to put on these blisters???? since my husband won't be a man and tell his dad that he don't need to be riding my son on the mower then i am going to do it myself when i get there. it is so dangerous to ride kids on the mower.
why didnt YOU tell him yourself? Im sorry your son got hurt but when you realized your DH wasnt going to say anything, YOU should have said something.
Try some aloe or neosporin
when i expected him to say something i figured he would have said something when he takes him over there to drop him off or something. i figured he said something but now i guess he didn't. i will be saying something when i get there.
My gpa, well not really, but that's another story was letting my cousin ride on a 50 fourwheeler, by himself, with no helmet, and it wasn't even governed and he would've done it again. Asshole.
Anyway, what I'm saying is some people will listen, and some won't, but also besides that your FIL SHOULDN'T be riding the tractor with your son if he can't put 100% of his focus/attention on that.
ETA; My cousin was 4 at the time, and had NO idea how to control the 4wheeler.
