I have never heard this term in my life. But apparently everybody else has.

I immediately thought of one of my brothers going off on a maudlin streak while the rest of us roll our eyes, "there goes Andy being a cornball!"
I was way off.

I heard it on the news. Some espn guy called the black quarter back for the redskins a cornball brother and got suspended for it.

my dad is a cornball, but he's not a brother.
