Father's Day - Grilling with Dad

When I think of my dad, I think about barbequing. It's his favorite thing to do - even on Father's Day. He doesn't mind the work or standing for hours slaving over a rack of ribs. To him, it's a rite that he's earned - pit master. This Father's Day will be no exception.

His secret weapon for those ribs is tinfoil. He uses it to loosely ten the rack while it is smoking over hickory chips. Once that's done, he bathes the ribs in sauce and cooks some more. I can't tell you how delicious these are - I crave them.

Moms, what are your favorite barbeque meals that are perfect for Father's Day?

depends on who cooks them lol. i prefer to spice them up and put them with veggies in packets but my brother and my parents will usually just put them directly on the grill.

I'll have to try the packets. I love scallops and actually have some on hand, right now....thanks:)

We usually keep it simple with hot dog and hamburgers, sometimes other stuff. My dad does great cooking most anything on the grill

It looks like for fathers day my husband will be working and my dad will be taking my older kids fishing so I will be hoe with my youngest for the day
