Mealtime Prep - No Fuss Grilled Corn

Corn on the cob is always a great bet for your summertime barbeque sides. Here's how to make the perfect cob.

When buying your corn from the store, make sure to pull back the husk just a bit and choose ears that have all their kernels in tact. The kernels should be firm and packed tightly on the cob.

Take them home and husk, removing all the silk.

Before putting on the grill, wrap each cob in tin foil. This ensures even cooking and flavorful corn. Cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat.

Serve immediately with butter and salt.

Moms, what other topping do you use on your freshly barbequed corn?

I don't use anything most of the time. If the corn is really good and fresh, it's great just the way it is.

We make this all the time, I throw butter, salt and pepper in the tinfoil. Next time we do it I'm brushing on some BBQ sauce before I wrap them in foil.

We had grilled corn yesterday for the first time this summer.  We just cooked it right in the husk.  The kids shucked it and ate it without anything else.  I like butter and a tiny bit of old bay on mine!
