Which are you using and how are you dressing them to make them delicious to fussy eaters?

My kids are weird.  They like vegetables plain.  Tonight I just steamed broccoli.  I love this time of year when produce is plentiful and cheaper!

I don't really have fussy eaters. You can't say you hate something at our table until you've taken three true bites of it. If they truly hate it, I won't make it, but otherwise it doesn't change.

Two of my favorite things aside from just raw veggies are asparagus in a butter sauce (really light) and mashed cauliflower. <3

Avocados. But tech. they are a fruit. Other than that I really dont know

 I have tomatoes and cucumbers, plus a few yellow summer squash. I've been harvesting already.

Quick salad is to dice the tomatoes & cukes, add a healthy dash of Italian dressing, blend , chill then serve.

Well this has nothing to do with in season, but recently my kids have wanted to eat frozen mixed veggies...frozen! Ha :)

Peas, carrots, lettuce are ones we eat a lot. Most of the time plain except for the lettuce. My son only likes the carrots. We also eat some corn on the cob and green beans

Golden beets (my favorite), which they'll eat roasted with other veggies (carrots, etc.). I'm going to try roasting fennel with it next time.
