Heck yes.  I gave my daughter and son-in-law each a pasta plate that I had painted and then had fired.  I'm not sure my son-in-law cared much, but my daughter was thrilled.  I've been drawing little sketches of sea life for years, since the kids were really small, and that's what I painted on the bowls.  My daughter called as soon as she got it, told me she recognized my drawings right away when she opened the box, and just loved it.  I was probably as happy as she was!  :o)

I shop all year round for Christmas.  Black Friday doesn't necessarily have the best deals so I keep my eye open!
