Any recipe, put in greased oven casserole dish, cover with homemade, seasoned croutons. Yum! I cube up 4/5 slices of bread, and let sit out while I sauté onions, garlic and ground pepper in olive oil and butter. Add bread cubes, toast till almost golden brown, cover Mac n cheese, and bake till heated through.

I use Campbell's cheddar cheese soup, shredded cheddar and french fried onions. I cook the elbows, then in a casserole dish mix the soup, however much cheddar I want to put in, cover it with foil and bake it on 350 for 30-45 min. I then add french fried onions to the top and put it back in for about 10 min to crisp the top.

It doesn't taste like stoffers or kfc, but we love it. I take it to family functions and its always a hit.

I use milk, butter and dried mustard.  The type of cheese you use is just preference.  I use campbells soup.
