Does anyone have recepies for Tandy cake and buck eyes they would like to share? I would like to make them for my bridal shower next month.

Quoting Bmat:

Here are two recipes for buckeyes, I called the second one peanut butter balls. I think I got it here on CM

1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
1 box powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
12 oz. peanut butter
12 oz. chocolate chips

Thoroughly mix butter, sugar, vanilla and peanut butter. Roll into small balls. Melt chocolate in double boiler. Keep on low heat while dipping balls-use toothpicks for dipping. Leave a small space open at top to give appearance of a buckeye. Put on waxed paper to dry.

Peanut Butter Balls

1 pound powdered sugar

1 pound butter

1 cup peanut butter

1 pound dipping chocolate

Mix the powdered sugar, butter, peanut butter together; put into freezer for 10 minutes. Melt chocolate on the stove while mix is in the freezer. Take out of freezer and shape into balls any size you want, then dip into the chocolate. Place on wax paper and allow to set then refrigerate. They last a long time in the fridge!!

My husband makes the best buckeyes. I have no idea how he makes them though.
