I dont know if any mom has thought about this, its just came to my mind that I want to try to be fixing simarly lunch as the school cafetaria and what my daughter likes that, so I started it when she starts school I have the cafetaria schedule and am fixing almost what its on it and my daughter likes that with the fruits and veges too and I guess mine is more healthier and fresh and its less expense.

There a blog from a teacher who tries to match her son's lunch to what they serve so he didn't feel left out.

That's a smart idea.  My daughter will be taking more lunches this year too.

My ds says the kids in his class ask him for food out of his lunch box. The food here really sucks and most kids dont eat.

We home school so that is not something I have to deal with. Though I can see it being likeable for your daughter because then she is not to different but at the same tiem you knw where the food is coming from.

That is a great idea. My mom is a manager of a cafeteria in my town and she has so many rules and regulations as to what she is allowed to serve. It's surprisingly super healthy now compared to when I was in school. All the bread is wheat, there's more servings of veggies and fruits. There is even a salad and a wrap line. She has no deep fryers in her kitchen.
