I love you! Our relationship together is growing and I feel so thankful for you. You are my very best friend on these busy baseball nights, All I have to do is stick food in you, turn you on and you do all the rest. You have taken the stress and chaos out of my life when I have about 30 minutes to get home and feed the family before I rush out of the door again, and clean up is a breeze. I dont know how I ever lived without you, you complete me. I want to learn how to make more things in you so I can tell my stove and oven to take a hike LOL. I want to shout it from the roof tops that you are the best thing EVER created for busy moms. Also I would like to tell you that the London broil you made me for dinner was Great!

Do you LOVE your crock pot? seriously I am falling in love with mine, its been neglected far too long.

we got our newst one at Khols on sale for $29, its large and oval and fits alot in it. its a rival but it works so well. keep checking the khols papers they go on sale often. also Kmart has them too, and sears and they offer layaway.

sounds good, now to find one on sale :)

pretty much the same way as I make my roast, except this time I bought a mcormic slow cooker pot roast mix, and put it in water, put some s&p & garlic poweder on it. threw some baby potatos and carrots in there. it turned out pretty well, still tasted like a normal london broild and was very moist.

Quoting TheBabyFactory4:

OK how did you make the london broil?

I love my crock pot too! I use it a ton, especially during the colder months.

I love my crock pot.  It's so much easier to do a pot full of stuff that can last for days than to try to figure out what to make each and every day.

I'm wondering...  What do you ladies think??

My sons "cleaned up" for me, and somehow my crock pot liner got to the basement.  Dirty, of course.  And when I found it, it was CRACKED from one end to the other, from the lip, down the side, across the bottom and up the other side.  I wasn't sure HOW it was still together in one piece.

So, I can ORDER a new liner...  The liner only costs $10, but shipping is about the same.  And, I'm wondering if you think it's WORTH it to buy a new liner?  Or just get a whole new pot?  Part of me thinks BUY A NEW ONE, while the other part thinks its a shame to throw out the base heating unit, because it WORKS just fine.
