At least every other day, but usually every day.  We got a new dishwasher earlier this year that holds a lot more than our old one, so I don't have to do them quite as often.

I run the dishwasher 1-2 times a day depending on what I'm cooking, if I have extra kids here, how many cups my stinkers get into, etc I only hand wash certain items like my crockpot and hand "wash" my cast iron.

But I keep hot water in my sink All day long so when you have a dirty dish you wash it
