Do you make meals ahead for the week, on the weekends? What do you make? How do you store it?

No I don't like doing that.  I use my crockpot alot.  If I need to make a meal ahead I do it the night before and put it in the frig.   I get alot of meals ready in the morning before I go to work.  That is why I love the crockpot.

I normally don't make meals ahead. If I cook a meal that is large(ex:lasagna) I will cut it in half and freeze the rest.

I don't ever make meals ahead of time. I always do it the day of. I should start doing it. There are days you are so tired you just don't feel like cooking :)

Sometimes I'll make my lunches ahead.  It's usually a soup or something.  I put in my wonderful tupperware  bowls.

I will also cook rice and oatmeal ahead.  I take these frequently for my breakfast and lunch at work so it's nice to just be able to go in there and pull some out.   I need to start portioning it in the correct serving sizes so I can just pull out the bag and go...

I don't usually cook ahead.  I may do some prep work on Sunday evening but we prefer to have our meals cooked hot and fresh.
