Chicken Parm my Way!

I made this the other night and my family loved it!!

3 boneless skinless chicken breast sliced into small pieces

2 tablespoons of Sesame oil (add more if needed)

1 tsp of minced garlic

1 Jar of pasta sauce (I used organic which only had tomato and seasonings)

Fresh shredded Parmesan cheese (I used about 1/2 cup)

Heat the oil in a pan and add garlic.  Saute garlic for a few minutes.

Add chicken to pan (I had to do it in two batches), saute until done on both sides

Take chicken out and put it in a baking pan (or if your pan can go into the oven just add the chicken back in).

Cover in the pasta sauce and put in a 375 degree oven.

Cook for 20-25 minutes then remove pan and add cheese

Cook until cheese is melted completely.

I didn't taste it because I'm not eating meat at the moment but my husband kept raving about it.  My 12 yo daughter said... It was ok which in the mom translation book means it was fantastic.  My son went back for seconds which also means fantastic!

Yum!  I haven't had chicken parm in a really long time.  I love that your recipe does not have breaded chicken, as a lot of recipes for chicken parm do.  When I get a chance, I'll definitely try this out.

Yep exactly we cut out a lot of the " extras" and find food is just as good or better.

Sounds really good. I might try this, and add some garlic to the oil while frying up the chicken...would give it some really nice flavor. I would also use some fresh mozz on top.
